This is one of the oldest buildings in Florence (believed to have been
built between the 5th and 12th centuries on the site of a Roman temple).
It has some stunning mosaic work in the ceilings, although some of them
such as this one are a little on the gruesome side, depicting what would
happen if you "strayed from the path".
